First of all, we will present to the class this reading activity, which we will project in class for everyone to see it.
We will ask the students to check what they have in the first slide. We will explain to the that they will need to read the text about the Mc Dermontt Family.
We will ask for a volunteer to read the text aloud.
After having a brief idea about the text, we will explain the whole activity. Students need to read the test again individually. Then, they have to do a quit text of 5 question about the Mc Dermontt´s.
Before they start, we will clarify how genially works, they need to answers each question and press “send” before they pass to the following slide.
We will make sure that everyone understand how genially works before giving them access to the activity.
What a good idea! I find it super original and tremendously visual being interactive. In addition, the fact that there are different questions embedded between the different parts of the story seems to me simply great. As an observation, if the text was accompanied by an audio of it, it would be a great way to get familiar with the correct pronunciation.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I´ll consider your idea in case I want to use this type of activities to work pronunciation.
DeleteHello Miriam!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is wonderful. It has a spectacular design and is very attractive.
About the content, I think the activities are very interactive, they are accompanied by many resources and their instructions are clearly expressed.
On the other hand, the content is complete, the different language skills are worked on, and various tools are presented.
I think it's a great job. thank you, colleague!
Kind regards, Cristina.
